They say: don’t reinvent the wheel. I say: sometimes you have to, just to understand how it was built, learn from it, and maybe spot something the people before you missed.
A small heads-up
This page is a quick intro suited for a public site, and some of what’s here may go stale over time.
Where I studied
- Graduated from KFUPM with a Software Engineering degree in 2021.
- Spent a semester at Georgia Tech in the US through an exchange program.
Things I love
- I love sharing what I know and teaching people.
- I love growing people and pulling out the best in them.
- I love sitting with people who talk and think.
- I love building projects and making them feel like art.
- I don’t love computers, but I love making them do everything they possibly can.
Things I can do
- I come up with theories (peer-reviewed by the Hadi Institute of Life and Advanced Technology — HIT).
- I design and build user-focused web experiences, sweating the small details from performance down to every pixel.
- I ship mobile apps and pick whatever approach serves the product, instead of clinging to one framework.
- I’ve handled hosting and cloud infrastructure across plenty of providers — AWS, Azure, GCP, Railway, and others.
- I’ve used SQL and NoSQL databases in a bunch of flavors and versions, depending on what each project needed.
